Join AMTA-MN for Massage & Bodywork Day at the Capitol:

Wed Feb 29, 2012

In our continuing efforts to pass a reasonable state-wide regulation for the Massage and Bodywork Therapy Profession, the AMTA-MN is joining forces with ABMP and the supporters of the MN-based Alliance for Licensing Massage Therapists (ALMT) to show the legislators just how much support there is for this legislation. To that end, the groups named above as well as several schools around the area are working together to organize a "Massage & Bodywork Day at the Capitol" event, scheduled for Wed Feb 29, 2012. Participation is free and we would love to have you join us. Read on for more details and the quick online participant registration form.

Plans for the Day
The day is planned for Wednesday Feb 29th from roughly 8:30am-12noon. If you can join us early in the day, Northwestern Health Sciences University (NWHSU) in Bloomington has generously offered to host a 7am light breakfast and briefing as well as provide bus transportation to the Capitol for any who want/need it. At the end of the day, buses would then be arriving back to Bloomington around noon or 12:30.  Otherwise, you can meet us at the Capitol at 8:30am and take part in a quick briefing for those who weren't able to hear the briefing earlier and start our day.
